John Arthur Bertrand Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Arthur Bertrand of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, born in Kelso, Missouri, who passed away on March 28, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Charles and Zetta C. Essner Bertrand; his son John D. Bertrand; and his siblings, Alvin William, Robert Charles, Harry Frank, Frank Charles, Ronald Lee Bertrand, Georgia Mae Haman, Charlotte Dunn, Shirley Ann Schmidt and Lorraine Eaton.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Bertrand of Cape Girardeau; his daughters, Deb Birchfield of Fredericktown and Donna Bertrand of Cape Girardeau; his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Bertrand of Cape Girardeau, Martha Bertrand of Cape Girardeau, Carolyn Bertrand of Cape Girardeau and Fred Schmidt of Cape Girardeau; his grandchildren, Danielle Nicole Pierce, Zachery Bertrand, Drace Bertrand, Shannon Scherer and Cali Scherer; and his great grandchildren, Haylei, Jaylin and Chance. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
