With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John G. Welch of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on July 27, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert L. Welch and Louise Mae Koch Welch; his children, Julie Platz (Marty) of Jackson, Missouri, John R. Welch of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Joe H. Welch (Tori) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; his brother Arthur Lee Welch of Banning, California; his grandchildren, Jacob Welch, Ashley Sparkman, Brittni Baker, James Allmon, Dalton Welch and Hunter Platz; and his great grandchildren, Abagail Baker, Ella Sparkman, Serenity Allmon, Peyton Baker, Callie Baker, Vera Grace Sparkman and Tristen Allmon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary Cathedral.
