It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Garnett Sr. (Cape Girardeau, Missouri), who passed away on January 29, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Peggy P. Garnett (Hiett); his children, John Jr. and Timothy A. Garnett; his grandchildren, Kala Groves (Ryan), Timothy A. Garnett Jr. (Melissa), Crystal Garnett (Lauren Chapman) and Austin Garnett; his great grandchildren, Reiss, Ethan, Owen, Vincent and William; and his siblings, Maxine Rickel, Bob Garnett and Helen Fitzgerald.

In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
