Juanita Rees Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita Rees of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on December 3, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Nelson and Novella Neal Nelson; her siblings, Nancy Robinson (Eudell), Linda Shaw (Wakefield) and Bobby Nelson; and her son-in-law Stephen "Herbie" Glueck.

She is survived by: her husband Donald Rees of Cape Girardeau; her children, Doug Rees (Carol) of Jackson, Danny Rees (Colleen) and Penny Rees of Cape Girardeau; her grandchildren, Chris Jauch (Wendy), Cara Raines (Brandon), Tyson Rees (Emily), Dustin Rees (Michelle), Tyler Rees (Caitlin), Kyle Rees (Amanda), Erika Rice (Zach), Kelly Beasley-Dunlap (Alex), Amy Baker (Jerry) and Aaron Glueck (Emily); and her siblings, Hope Schuerman (Chester), Patty Burton (late James "Windy"), Richard Nelson (Charlotte), Pam Heard, David, Tim Nelson (Lewonna), Jimmy Nelson (Pam) and Diane Ellison (Mark). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandson; a great-great-granddaughter.

Later, when the threat of covid virus has passed, the family plans to announce a gathering to celebrate Juanita's life.
