She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Buchheit and Dorothy McCormick (Monkiewicz); and her siblings, Tracy Buchheit and Ellen Vaught. She is survived by: her husband Rick; her children, Rachael Lawson (Donald) of Scott City, Derrick Schlosser (Logan) of Whitewater and Cory Schlosser (Megan) of Scott City; her grandchildren, McCoy Lane Schlosser, Linney Kent Schlosser, Indigo Elaine Schlosser, Quincy Elizabeth Schlosser and Milo Barry Schlosser; her siblings, Paul Buchheit (Sherry) of Bell City, Phyllis Duschell of Jackson, Cheryl Buchheit of Perryville, Laura Zimmerman of Tallassee, Anita Hartle (Mike) of Jackson and Sandra Ressel (Steve) of Cape Girardeau; Bonnie and Clyde.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Croix Church (3102 Lexington Ave, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
