He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Boren and Emma Petzoldt Boren; his son Lee Boren; and his siblings, Dorothy Williams, Sophie Boren, Roland Boren and Ervin Boren.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki Boren of Cape Girardeau and Doug Boren (Cathy) of Jackson, Missouri; his daughter-in-law Lyris Boren of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his grandchildren, Bryan Boren (Chanel), Lance Boren (Katie), Tori Boren and Daniel Boren (Jennifer). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
