He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Silas Linex and Nellie Mae Gregory Baker; his spouse LaVerne Tinkle; his former wife Kay Evans Baker; his brother Jake Baker; his sister-in-law Martha Jane Baker; his children, Lisa Curtis (Bill) of Cape Girardeau, Leon L. "Lin" Baker (Kelley) of Jackson and Lee G. Baker (Terri) of Cape Girardeau; and his grandchildren, Emily Schmitz (Mark), Erin Ressler (Charles P.), Billy Curtis, Corey Baker (Alyssa), Clayton Baker (Emily), Aly Baker and Robert Flannery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Lutheran Home or Southeast Hospice.
