With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon L. Baker (Cape Girardeau, Missouri), born in East Prairie, Missouri, who passed away on January 13, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Silas Linex and Nellie Mae Gregory Baker; his spouse LaVerne Tinkle; his former wife Kay Evans Baker; his brother Jake Baker; his sister-in-law Martha Jane Baker; his children, Lisa Curtis (Bill) of Cape Girardeau, Leon L. "Lin" Baker (Kelley) of Jackson and Lee G. Baker (Terri) of Cape Girardeau; and his grandchildren, Emily Schmitz (Mark), Erin Ressler (Charles P.), Billy Curtis, Corey Baker (Alyssa), Clayton Baker (Emily), Aly Baker and Robert Flannery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The Lutheran Home or Southeast Hospice.
