It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillie Ethel Proffer Davie (Cape Girardeau, Missouri), who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Edward Davie; and her siblings, Clela Yamnitz, Wanda Winschel, Geraldine Wilson, Violet Williams, Anna Burns, Irene Nesslein, Vernie McDaniels, Geneva Proffer, Ora D. Proffer, Marvin W. Proffer and Melvin Proffer.
She is survived by: her children, Vella Michaelis (Dale) of Barnhart, Darla Parkhill (Kenneth) of Cape Girardeau, Randy Davie (Dixie) of Gordonville, Eddie Davie (Janee) of West Frankfort and Lana Cook (Mark) of Cape Girardeau; her grandchildren, Thomas Pender, Cherie Michaelis-Cobb (Jason), Bradley Parkhill, Ryan Davie, Sara Bradshaw (Brandon), Lindsey Davie, Taylor Bean (Kyle), Christopher Davie, Casey Cook (Sarah) and Noland Cook (Rachel); and her great grandchildren, Regan, Ross Davie, Hadley Bradshaw, Adeline, Ainsley, Aliza Cook, Brianna Lillie Cobb, Hailey, Emma and Kaden Bean.
