She was predeceased by: her parents, William Goodwin and Geneva Goodwin; her uncle Al Halter; and her great grandchild Tristen Allmon. She is survived by: her husband John G. Welch; her children, John R. Welch of Cape Girardeau, Julie Platz (Marty) of Jackson and Joe Welch (Tori) of Cape Girardeau; her grandchildren, Jacob Welch, Ashley Sparkman, Brittni Baker, James Allmon, Dalton Welch and Hunter Platz; her great grandchildren, Abagail Baker, Ella Sparkman, Serenity Allmon, Peyton Baker, Callie Baker and Vera Grace Sparkman; and her half-sister Debbie Tretter of DeSoto, Missouri.. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to St. Mary Cathedral or to a charity of choice.
