It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Allen Ward of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on June 1, 2021, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Keith Allen Ward. He is survived by: his mother Karen Nickels Ward; his children, Mason and Daphne; his wife Valerie Ward; his sisters, Christa Anderson (Billy) of Jackson and Jeanie Ward-Epley of Arkansas; his aunt Barb Ford (Chris) of St. Louis; and his uncles, Steve Ward (Denise) of Cape Girardeau, John Nickels of St. Louis and David Nickels of Cape Girardeau. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
