It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Lawrence of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on July 14, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Raymond Clyde and Flossie Jewel Eason Lawrence; and his siblings, Paul Lawrence and Barbara Knuckles. He is survived by: his daughters, Tracey Lawrence of Cape Girardeau, Trena Lawrence of Jackson, Shawna Lawrence of Cape Girardeau, Cyndi Bradley of Festus, Shelley Williams (Robin) of Cape Girardeau and Dawn Kelley of Cape Girardeau; his brothers, Burl Lawrence (Elizabeth) of Cairo, Earl Lawrence (Judy) of Jonesboro and Melvin Lawrence (Rose) of Jackson; his grandchildren, Aaron Gostowski, Taylor Lawrence, Darian Lawrence, Zane Acord, Kaylynn Bridges, Rosalina Vasquez, Amber Gostowski, Jude Schwepker, Alexander Santos, Layana Parrow, I, Kayliana Lawrence, Brittany Williams, Cassandra, Bethany Morris, Jesse, Tesla Austin, Kristin and Jason Bradley; and his great grandchildren, Ophelia Borneman, Viola Borneman and Addison Lawrence.
