He is survived by: his children, Derek Halter (Stacy) of Leopold, Eric George Halter (Michelle) of Saint Louis, Missouri and Alicia Renea Vandeven (Michael) of Leopold, Missouri; his sister Peggy Sullivan of Cape Girardeau; and his grandchildren, Paige, Faith, Evan Halter, Braden, Hallie, Cooper, Jack Halter, Jocelyn, Hunter and Laramie Vandeven.
