He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Patton and Rita Patton (Romik); and his stepson Virgil Minton III. He is survived by: his wife Mickey; his children, Abbey Freiley (Zach), Matthew Patton (Erin) and Jason Patton (Beth); his grandchildren, Seth, Etta, Elliot and Madison; and his siblings, Lori Heyder (John), Karen Hauschild (Rick) and Greg Patton (Rita).
