He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ignatius and Julia Ann Lappe Bohnert. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Bohnert (Kim) of Collierville, Ron Bohnert (Vivian) of Whitewater, Steve Bohnert (Debbie) of Pacific, Tammy Roberts (Kenny) of Cape Girardeau and Pam Thompson (Jim) of Jackson, Missouri.; and his sisters, Bernice Gotto of Perryville and Birdie Ernst of Biehle, Missouri.. He is also survived by his children, he is survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary Cathedral Building Fund.
