He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnie Friese and Lillie Crites Friese; his wife Mildred "Louise" Davis; his son Chuck Friese; and his siblings, Carlston "Gene" Friese, Carl Melvin Friese and Doris Hartle.
He is survived by: his son Doug Friese (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Max Friese, Vince Friese and Chara Bruner.
