She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene; her daughters, Barbara and Mary Jo Schlick; and her sister June Hess. She is survived by: her children, Eugene Schlick (Debbie), Stephen Schlick (Linda), Michael Schlick, Susan Wallis (David) and Nancy Gibson (Brian); her grandchildren, John Derek, Lance (Micah), Sara, Andrew, Bobby Jo (Taylor), Ryan, Michael Jr. (Eva), Christopher (Emily), Jennifer (Jason), Kristina (Dan) and David Jr. (Katie); her great grandchildren, Alene, Andrew, Alex, Caleb, Camden, Cole, Ethan, Gracyn, Jacob, Joseph, Kaila, Levi, Linley, McKenna, Peyton, Samuel, Stella and Tyler; and her sibling's children, Pat Farwick (Mike), Kathy Pedone (Mike), Tom Piening (Ann), Steve Piening (Sandy), Tim Piening (Diane), Kim Steinmetz (Greg), Linda Rosser (Mike), Peggy Evans (Joe) and Diane Mock (Michael). She is also survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Marian Charities to the Mary Jo Schlick Fund.
