He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman R. Southard and Roberta Gross Southard; and his grandson Hunter Southard. He is survived by: his sons, Stephen R. Southard (Julie) of Cape Girardeau and Daniel R. Southard (Sara) of Cape Girardeau; his sisters, Helen Seabaugh of Jackson, Missouri and Cathy Coduti of Jackson, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Claire Southard, Eli Youngblood, Thomas Southard, Landon Southard and Katelyn Southard.
