He is survived by: his sons, August Ritter III (Laura) and Brian Ritter (Angie); his grandchildren, Graham Ritter (Taylor), Jessie Toups (Brian), Evan Ritter (Caroline), Abby Ritter, Blake Ritter, Anne-Marie Ritter, Amber Voerg, Ashlie Voerg (Jami) and Alex Beck (Chris); and his siblings, Margaret and Carl.
