It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rickey Dean Gockel (Cape Girardeau, Missouri), who passed away on October 31, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin E. "Pete" and Laverne Springer Gockel; and his sister Sondra Fitzpatrick. He is survived by: his sister Rhonda Neels (Jerry) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; his nephews, Bradley Neels (Amy), Darren Neels (Lindsey) and Trevor Neels (Teagan); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Reese, Samuel, Tarren and Thomas Neels.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
