He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Chester Cardwell and Minerva Lucinda Graham Cardwell. He is survived by: his wife Donna Cardwell; his daughters, Jackie Fluegge (Marty) and Robin Cardwell-Mullins (Chris); and his siblings, Jan Fry, Sharon Frazer, Margaret and Bruce. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, extended family members and many friends.
