He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Lewis "Butch" Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Kathie Haupt of Jackson; his sons, Johnnie D. Haupt (Jeanette) of Avondale, Robert Haupt (Kim), Devyn Haupt, Aidyn Haupt, Graisyn Haupt, Nolyn Haupt of Jackson and Thomas Haupt (Nikki); his father Johnnie of Jackson; his siblings, Lana Wendel, Pierce Wendel of Maryland Heights and Pam Wendel (Larry) of Elizabeth; and his siblings' children, Mindy Belue (Daniel), Jeremy Pierce (Liz), Christopher Wendel (Shellie) and Kelsey Wendel. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
