He was predeceased by: his daughter Jari Vandenberg. He is survived by: his wife Nelda Simpson of Cape Girardeau; his daughters, Judith L. Divan of Smyrna and Jane S. Smith (Ralph) of Smyrna; his son-in-law David Vandenberg; his child Abbey Road Christian Church; and also, Paul E. Divan (Jennifer) of Des Moines, Nicholas J. Divan (Jennifer) of Saint Louis, Benjamin D. Smith (Shelley Bryant) of Portland, Jillian S. Smith of Saint Louis, Bastiaan Vandenberg (Alyssa) of California, Virginia Vandenberg of California, Nathaniel Vandenberg of California and Ari Vandenberg of California. He is also survived by five brothers and two sisters.
