He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Blackwell and Mary Alice Blackwell (Craig); his wife Betty; and his son Mike Blackwell. He is survived by: his children, Robert M. Blackwell (Barbara) of Cape Girardeau, Mark L. Blackwell (Brenda) of Cape Girardeau, Debbie Schlick (Gene) and Fruitland; his sister Nadiene Blackwell Blyze of Farmington, Missouri; his grandchildren, Bobby, Jimmy, Tina, John-Derek, Lance, Sarah, Amy, Ashlee, Andrea and Amanda; his great grandchildren, Jessica, Christian, Drake, Allistor, Tyler, Caleb, Mark, Tristin, Alex and Alexia; and his great great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Corbin.
