He is survived by: his children, Deborah Pensel (Rob), Susan Niswonger, John Bening and Joseph Bening (Shelly); his daughter-in-law Tammy Bening; his grandchildren, Joshua Pensel, Erika Bening, Tyler Bening, Blake Bening and Jacob Bening; his great grandchild Raylee Jo Bening; and his siblings, Dennis Bening and Elverna Voelkel.
