He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Sides and Lydia Funk Sides; his wife Gloria; his sons, Terry and Randy Sides; his stepson Kenneth Ray Moore; and his siblings, Herbert Sides and Lucille White.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Sides (Bill) of Cape Girardeau, MO., Darrell Sides (Jane) of Ontario Canada and Donny Sides (Echo) of Cape Girardeau, MO.; and his siblings, Earl Sides of Jackson, MO., Don Sides (Ruthann) of Jackson, MO., Paul Sides (Linda) of Jackson, MO., Erma Pierce, Dorothy Gurley of Paducah, KY, Betty Boyers of Cape Girardeau, MO. and Irene Crites of Memphis, TN.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations are appreciated to the Saxony Lutheran High School and the St. Andrew Building Fund.
