He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard F. and Hazel Ponder; his wife Elaine; and his siblings, Sam, Pauline Brady and Maxine Brady.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Kathryn Ponder; his friends, Frosty and Kathryn; his children, Doug, William Douglas Halcomb and Janet Laurel Schlief (Ron); his grandchildren, Christopher Eric Halcomb, Scott Douglas Halcomb (Deborah) and Andrew Thomas Maurer; his great grandchildren, Faryn, Elric, Cirith, Saiya and Yvaine; and also Nancy Elaine Ponder.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bill's honor are suggested to the Salvation Army, the American Cancer Society, or the charity of your choice.
