He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Hennecke and Hazel Eakins Hennecke; his siblings, Walter L., Charles E., Bobby R. Hennecke, Anna Marie Brucker (Clarence) and Connie Myers (Lonnie); and his brothers-in-law, Horace Hitt and Don Voorhes.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Patricia Hennecke of Cape Girardeau; his children, Rev. William Wayne Hennecke, Jr. of Kimberling City and Danielle Poyner (Gary) of Cape Girardeau; his granddaughter Ava Grace Poyner of Cape Girardeau; his stepchildren, Jackie McMahel of Winter Garden, FL and Chris Smith of Ballwin; his stepgrandsons, Tyler, Trey McMahel of Winter Garden and David Smith of Ballwin; his sisters, Frances Hitt of Cape Girardeau and Donna Voorhes of Fruitland; and his sister-in-law Teresa Hennecke of Shalimar, FL..
