She was predeceased by: her parents, Taylor Nichols and Mary Nichols (Heatherly); and her grandsons, Brendan Garrett and Justin DeVine. She is survived by: her husband Carroll Wheat of Carl Junction; her children, Tammy DeVine (Matt), Dana Wheat and Mark Wheat; her brother Vern Nichols; her grandchildren, Kara DePriest (Hank), Hannah DeVine, Natilie DeVine, Cidney Wheat, Timothy Garrett and Trevor Garrett (Aimee); and her great grandchildren, Rylee Grant, Nolan DePriest, Adrian Garrett, Axton Garrett and Lucas Haines.
Because of Ramona's love for animals, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Joplin and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
