We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2021, at the age of 82, Verlene Atwell of Carl Junction, Missouri, born in Joplin, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Verlene Atwell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Smith and Betty Smith (Whited); her husband James "Jim" Atwell; and her siblings, Joyce Couch and Billy Smith.
She is survived by: her son Brandon Atwell (Mandee) of Carl Junction; her grandchildren, Brylynn of Carl Junction and Callen Atwell of Carl Junction; and her brothers, Harold Gene Smith (Ginger) of Grove, OK and John Smith of Springfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Christpoint Church in memory of Verlene and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
