He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gary John and Marjorie Ann Cross (Essex); his wife Janet L. Neal; his son Joshua Cross (Amy) of Independence, MO; and his sister Tracy Asher (Thomas) of Pomona, MO.
In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project.
