She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Shoemaker and Edna Ella Shoemaker (Elmquist); her husband Richard Wayne Rose; her daughter Deborah Lynn Rose; her foster daughter Connie Bracken; her sisters, Bertha McNutt, Rema Maxwell, Edna Hughes, Francis Parthenia Shoemaker, Emma Jo Privett, Velma Garrison, Violet Stockton and Ella Mae Shoemaker; and her granddaughter Desiree Rose.
She is survived by: her son Danny Reed Rose; and her foster son Jerry Halley. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
