He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Johns and Mae Johns (Foster); and his siblings, Glen, Sammie Johns and Evelena Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Clara; his daughters, Pam Beyers (Steve) of Sparta and Deanna Butts (Randy) of California, Missouri; his stepchildren, Vickie Poe of Rocheport, Missouri, Kelly Poe of Eugene and James Poe of Holt Summit, Missouri; his sister Juanita Luttrull; and his sister-in-law Vivian Johns. He is also survived by four grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
