He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Langan and Elmer "Bud" Langan; his grandson Evan Thomas Neally; his brothers, Bob and Jim; and his stepfather Roy Hussong.
He is survived by: his sisters, Maryl and Sweets; his wife Jeane; his children, Peggy Hayner (John Arpan) of Deerfield, Illinois, Dan Langan (Valerie) of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, Suzy Neally (Stan) of Carthage and Cathy Burling (Ron) of Morris, Illinois; his grandchildren, Laura (Audrey Hayner), Tommy (Claire Langan), Mitchell (Kate), Justin (Ethan Neally), Ryan (Stephanie) and Kevin (Emily Burling); his great grandchildren, Grayson Burling and Baker Thomas Neally; his father-in-law Forrest Carl; and his brother-in-law Bob Carl.
Memorials may be directed to the First Christian Church (DOC) in Carthage or the Lowcountry Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
