She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Frakes and Imogene Frakes of Steele, Missouri.; her husband Hugh Ellis "Buddy" James; and her son Scott Ellis James. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Jean Roberts (Chad Roberts), Lesley Ann Lint (Greg Lint) and Beth Elise James; her grandchildren, Ginny Kate Bryant, Jon Reagan Bryant and Olivia Clementine Gaal; her brother Jim "Butch" Frakes (Connie Frakes); and her nephews, Jamie Frakes, Jeremy Frakes, Richard Bowers and Bobby Frakes.
