He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Trainor and Frances Johnson Trainor. He is survived by: his wife Jean Trainor of Caruthersville, Missouri; his children, Matthew Trainor of Caruthersville, Missouri and Amanda Patrick of Falls Church, Virigina; his siblings, Maggie Luallen of Osseo, Wisconsin and Dennis Trainor of Woodstock, Illinois; and his granddaughters, Lillian, Clara and Miriam. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the H. S. Smith Funeral Chapel (808 Ward Ave, Caruthersville, MO 63830). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (605 Ward Ave, Caruthersville, MO 63830). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Maple Cemetery (Caruthersville, MO 63830).
The family request that memorials be given to Caruthersville Public Library or Sacred Heart Church.
