He was predeceased by : his parents, John Williams and Edna Williams; and his wife Alvera. He is survived by : his children, William Williams (Deann) and Kathy May Williams; his grandchildren, Wanda Infante (Enrique), James Williams (Tiffany), Joey Williams and Billie Williams (Mary); his great grandchildren, Ariel Hooper (Barry), Jered Winter, Anthony Winter (Jessica), Brandon Williams and Madison Williams; and his great great grandchild Dixie Jean Hooper. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

Memorial donations can be made to Chapel Hill Mortuary in care of the Williams family.
