She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Jane Rhodes Lewallen and Jane Whaley; her stepfather Claude Whaley; her son Jeffrey Cassout; and her siblings, Ricky Lewallen and Linda Miller.
She is survived by: her spouse Everett Thomas Cook; her sons, Robert "Spike" Cook of Sachse and Chad Cassout (Tonya) of Irving, Texas; her stepchildren, Jimmy Cook (Amy) of Gypsy, Missouri, Clara Ross (Pat) of Ste. Genevieve and Tommie Elkins (Fonzie) of Cape Girardeau; her grandchildren, Landri, Lane, Cole and Tory; and her great grandchildren, Kileigh and Kaiden.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral chapel to assist with funeral expenses.
