She was predeceased by: her mother Lillian Mae Tate; her siblings, Johnny Tate, Donald Ray Tate, Alice Dean Tate and Hazel Tate; and her grandson Kenneth Lewis Tucker, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Tate of Mayfield, Diane Williams of Mayfield, Dereke Cummings of Mayfield, Bemosley Cummings (Gloria), Eddie Cummings (Shirley) of Nashville and Tony Cummings (Marcy) of Cairo; and her brothers, Alfred Tate of Murray and Stanley Tate of Anna. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
