He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Forest and Frances Raithel of Virginia; his children, David Raithel (Liz), Dianne Hall (Bob), Steven Raithel (Joy), Richard Raithel (Rhonda) and Jeffrey Raithel (Deb); his grandchildren, Ryan, Travis, Kevin, Tristan, Dylan, Sean, Mason, Jenna, Sam and Matthew; his spouse Connie Pendergrass; his stepsons, Gene Pendergrass and Chad Pendergrass; his stepgrandchildren, Eric, Logan and Brittney; and his brothers, Robert "Bob" Raithel and GySgt Richard "Dick" Raithel. He was also cherished by 7 great grandchildren.
