She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Adam and Maud Martin Gunter; her husband Harry "Doc" Ferrell; her children-in-law, Rev. Jim Malugen and Janie Ferrell; and her siblings, Sam A. Gunter, Robert Gunter, Elmer "Toad" Byrum, John Byrum and Gertrude Byrum Grooms.
She is survived by: her children, Harry Gunter Ferrell of Dyersburg, TN, Carolyn Malugen of Cape Girardeau and Dianna Russell (Buddy) of East Prairie; and her grandchildren, Jayne Ellen Russell Ray (Lance) of Charleston, Mark Gunter Malugen (Jennifer) of Rogers, AR, James Martin Malugen (Crystal) of Jackson, Amy Lynne Ferrell Jerding of Dyersburg, TN and Julie Anne Ferrell Walker (Tom) of Newburgh, IN. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
