He was predeceased by : his wife Clara M. Jost; his parents, Peter Jost and Anna Jost; and his siblings, Peter Jost, Emri Jost, Matthew Jost and Martin Jost.

He is survived by : his daughter Cheryl A. Nickl; his grandchildren, Kyle Nickl (Kristen) and Laine Baldocchi (Adam); and his great grandchildren, Olivia Nickl, Emily Nickl and Isaac Nickl.
