He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Ellen Bayer; his children, Mary Ellen Weber (Michael), Sally Edler (Gary), Raymond Bayer, Jr. (Christie), Kathleen Schasch (Cliff), Amy Schulte (John) and Jennifer Soetaert (John); and his siblings, Thomas Bayer, Jr. (Joan), Jane Dinan (Ed), Joseph Bayer (Stavra), Juanita Roberts (Randy), Rosemary Nuelle (Bob), Christopher Bayer (Carole) and Joanne Wimmer (Len). He was also cherished by his five son-in-laws and one daughter-in-law as his own children.
