She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Peterson and Anna Elizabeth Peterson (Pendagraft); her brother Garry Peterson; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Shafer, Carol Ann Peterson, Ella Jo Peterson and Debbie Peterson.
She is survived by: her husband George Laurence; her daughters, Lisa York (Aaron) of Chillicothe and Lona Ratliff (Jason) of Kansas; her siblings, Wayne Peterson of Colorado, Clark Peterson of Chillicothe, Kenneth Peterson (Suzanne) of North Carolina, Jim Peterson (Linda) of Columbia, Marvin Peterson (Linda) of Chillicothe, Missouri, Delores Shafer of Chillicothe and Linda Peterson of Brookfield, Missouri; and her sister-in-law Betty Peterson of Chillicothe, Missouri. She is also survived by five grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
