She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Wood and Maybelle Wood (Elliott); her husband Melvin Floyd Christopher; and her sister Dorothy Long. She is survived by: her children, Donna Horine (Rick) of Carrollton, MO., Larry Christopher (Jan) of Centerville, Gary Chirstopher (Amy) of Chillicothe, MO. and Michael Christopher of Chillicothe, MO.; her grandchildren, Jamie Christopher, Tara Parker, Ashton Christopher, Brent Christopher, Stacey Price, Scott Price, Lori Joyner and Lana Albright; and her great great grandchild Raymond Hibner of Chillicothe.

Memorials in honor of Maxine may be made to Grand River Multi Purpose Center.
