It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Eugene Bruce of Chillicothe, Missouri, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl White and Joan Bruce; his grandmother Emma Jean Bruce; his friends, George and Kenneth Kitchin; his children, Dr. Duane Bruce of Athens, Kasey Lawson (Terence) of Kansas City and Josh Bruce (Angie) of Smithville, Missouri.; his grandchildren, TaKayla, Thomas Lawson, Johanna and Jalen Bruce; and his half-siblings, Linda White-Smith of Pasadena and Tim White of Pomona, California..
Memorial contributions may be made to the Vern R. Glick American Legion Post #25, designated for the baseball program that he loved so much.
