He was predeceased by: his parents, James Patton Ryals, Sr. and Elba I. Ryals (Agee); his wife Velma Ruth; his sons-in-law, Steve Holman and Mike Hill; and his brothers, Wallace, Willard and Marion Ryals.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tempy Holman of Huntsville, MO, Tammy Hill of Clifton Hill, MO, Lisa Rice (Rayle) of Huntsville, MO and Linda Haffecke of Huntsville, MO; his grandchildren, Brad Holman (Alexis), Annavee Brown (Eric), Trevor Hill, Zach Hill (Tana), D. J. Haffecke, Abby Meyer (Chris) and Tyler May (Lisa); his stepgrandchildren, Brett White (Kim), Brad Rice (Danelle), Victoria Wyatt (Zach), Kayla Rice and Kayle Rice; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Zander, Landry, Emrey Holman, Trace, Kambria, Quade Brown, Trey, Lanie, Kyler Hill, Gage, Rydan, Aizleigh Hill, Aniston, Everly, Caroline, Fletcher James May, Huntley, Elby and Ripp Meyer; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Tate, Cora Wyatt, Tyler, Kyleigh, Kalynn, Knox, Trenton White, Rosella and Lottie Rice; and his sister-in-law Carman Hughes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Patton Funeral Home (121 N Main St, Huntsville, MO 65259). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Huntsville City Cemetery - Huntsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
