Corena L. Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2021, at the age of 85, Corena L. Smith of Clinton, Missouri, born in Joplin, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Byrl Akers and Dora Isabella Akers (Rhine); her daughter Sheryl Fitzgerald; and her siblings, Lonnie, Duane, Gary, Reva and LaVerna.
She is survived by: her husband Alvin E. "Al" Smith; her children, James Fitzgerald (Karen) and Diana Cartwright (Dana); and her stepdaughters, Julie McDaniel and Diane Smith. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Clinton Senior Center, and these donations may be left in care of the funeral home.
