He is survived by: his parents, John Henry Hix and Odessa Iva Hix (Schoonover); his spouse Wilma Dorraine Doyle; his sons, David Hix (Carol) of Harrisonville and Paul Hix (Penny) of Amoret; his grandchildren, Emily Hix, Kyle Hix, Keegan Hix, Heather Troyer Murray, Vanessa Troyer, Megan Troyer and Cameron Hook; his great grandchildren, Tyler Troyer, Kaden Murray and Ariyana Young; his siblings, Hoyt Hix (Sammie) of Independence, Ronnie Hix of Windsor, Virgie Harms of Windsor, Patsy Cox (Bill) of Leeton and Kay Cox (Gerald) of Leeton; and his siblings-in-law, Ron White of Worthington, Claire Reed of Buffalo, Gwen Hix of Warrensburg and Patty Hix of Coulee Dam. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
