He was predeceased by: his son Eric Gegner (Cheryl); his parents, Beede and Freda; and his siblings, Beede Shinn, Jr, Darlene Shinn, Nancy Bailey and Viola Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Sue Grayson; his children, Jolene Shinn of Clinton, William Shinn Jr. of Clinton, Debra Shinn (Gegner) of Clinton and Scott Gegner of Clinton; his grandchildren, Glen, Chris, Heather, Michael, Mackenzie, Daniel, Jeff, Deidre, Jessica, Andrea, Ashley, Jamie Lynn, Scott Jr., Christopher, Corey and Brandon; and his brother Jesse.
